By the way once we fix the back end it will allow people like Junior to blitz more and get more pressures. A defense is only as good as its weekest link, so our defense was only as good as Corey White and PRob. So the fact that Junior did as well as he did is a miracle.

PRob was one of our better defensive players last season.
He started out with some trouble, but he got much better.

So in your opinion he sucks, isn't worth his contract, is a lazy POS that can't play, and is going to be suspended for 6 games; but you think another team is going to give up a 2nd round pick for him. Do you understand how trades work?

There were a ton of weak links on the saints last year. Depth at all defensive positions except safety was one of the problems.
Injuries were another.
Then leadership and accountability
Then offensive live, specifically interior line play.
Man it was bad. Galette has his issues but he played very well considering how poor the total defense was

He was in Academy the other day and I don't know if it was just the stuff he was wearing but he looked like he put on a couple of lbs.

10.375mil/yr for a guy that had back-to-back double digit sacks (12 and 10) since Charles Grant in '03 and '04.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but 10mil for a guy getting 10 sacks/yr is a hell of a deal.
Considering the fact OLB/DEs such as:
1. Campbell has never achieved double digit sacks is getting paid 11.0mil
2. Ware at the age of 32 (going to be 33) is getting 10.0mil
3. Casey is getting paid 9.0mil for 10.5 (2013) and 5 (2014) sacks.
4. Cole is getting paid 12.1mil
5. Hali is getting paid 11.5mil
so really, a lot of teams would like him for that much.
