for reference, the order scored 4/10ths of a point higher on IGN than superman returns. Superman Returns did not have the benefit of being the best looking game in console history

and the final boss battle was a tornado

It also came out 16 years later, has a different reviewer, and I'm pretty sure they have changed their review scale about 5 times since then.

superman returns was released in November of 2006, so I don't know about 16 years

it is kind of similar in that it was saved from a lower score because the flight simulator was just so perfect and awesome

So far a few reviews lamented not being able to score it lower because of the gorgeous graphics

No doubt I'll play it eventually, if it is still one of the best looking games when it's bargain bin

It's not the money, it's the principle. 7 hours? Really?

I could beat the last of us in 7 hours but the choices and scavenging/ecoloring (and it's a linear 3rd person game) doubles that for me. Batman has side missions, Easter eggs and riddler trophies, uncharted (I don't know why I take so long beating those games)

People had made up their minds about this game before it came out. That includes reviewers.

So listening to the bombcast yesterday, I kind of got the impression that a lot of Jeff's "I-hate-everthing" act is just that. He was going on about some game, really pouring it on, and Brad says "come on, man". Jeff: "Ok, yeah, you're right."

I didn't, I had pretty high hopes actually. Reputable studio, PS exclusive (not a big history of failure there) and indisputably the best graphics you can have on either console.

this is pretty disappointing because the only 3 games I play on PS4 are shadows of mordor, LoU (a ps3 game) and evil within...well and madden, it's gorgeous
