Worst movie theater experience I've ever had last night...

So I went and saw the Kingsman last night at the theater in Gonzales. I saw it alone, b/c I like seeing movies alone.
I'm posted up in the top corner of the theater so I can have my space. I arrived about 10 min early b/c I can't stand being late to a movie.
I have never seen such complete disrespect for other people as I did last night.
Atleast 25 people walked in after the movie had already started. Ofcourse they are the ones that wanted to sit in the middle of a row. Then when they thought they'd found a spot, these idiots would practically yell to their friends and family members.
Another thing that really boggled my mind was the amount of little kids at a rated R movie. A movie that dropped the F bomb a gazillion times, was quite violent, and even talked about anal sex.
And in case you're curious, it was a mix of both Rednecks and urban folks.
WTF is wrong with people?!

You should have turned on your phone camcorder, stood up, dropped your pants, and begun a full rendition of "The Thong Song" by Sisqo without censoring the n-word.

This is why I steer clear of trashy people

Have not had any problems with that theater but I don't have older kids and have not been at night other than a weeknight
I like that the theaters are smaller and the seats are nice and larger

ehh, thats not too bad TBH
I saw a flick once where some moron lady answered her phone and started having a conversation loud as all get out about what she was doing, what her day had been like, and what she was having for dinner.
A dude yelled out for her to shut the frick up and she went to get an usher to kick him out. (she ended up getting the boot.)
The current thing that pisses me off is people who pretend they don't know that some theaters now do assigned seats. They fricking tell you at the window where you are supposed to sit at those places if you don't buy ahead yet they will try and sit where the frick ever and get really pissy when the person who bought that seat tries to sit. Then they'll move to a different seat that isn't theirs and again act all shocked and annoyed if another person tries to take their rightful seat. (I see this happen at sporting events quite often as well)
Worst example of that I have seen recently were these assholes who were at XMen Days of Future Past. Not only were they trying to take whatever seat their hearts desired on opening weekend, they fricking brought a god damn baby in a giant arse travel seat that they set down on the fricking floor and were making people walk OVER their kid to move back and forth. They got moved twice and finally went to their shite seats down below and of course the poor kid stars crying b/c well, THATS WHAT frickING HAPPENS WHEN YOU BRING A BABY TO A LOUD arse ACTION MOVIE. The father and mother then bickered on who would take the kid out for a bit and then finally the mom picks the kid up and instead of taking it outside she fricking just stands in the aisle trying to rock it to sleep. Of course the crying continued and eventually after what felt like forever (long enough for Wolverine to be sent to the past) they get up and GTFO.

Glad I'm not the only one...seems like a dumb policy unless it's one of the high end place that serve food and drinks and all that jazz

Could have been worse....

That might seem crazy, but how else to explain the reaction of three women at a Glasgow screening of Fifty Shades Of Grey who attacked a man in the audience with a wine bottle after he told them to be quiet? As eyewitness Michael Bolton (not that Michael Bolton) told The Telegraph, “Besides being the worst film I have ever seen, three women were getting arrested and put in a police van when we arrived.” Yes, the trio’s impromptu attempt at gender warfare was thwarted, but they did get to be put in handcuffs so the night wasn’t a total failure.
quote:
“It’s a cinema where you can buy drink,” Bolton continues. “They were wiping down seats before the start of the 8:20 p.m. film. There were also several incredibly drunk women vomiting in the aisle and corridor and several complaints from the other screen about drunk and rowdy folk.” So maybe they were completely wasted, maybe it was the opening salvo in a global war from which no male will escape intact.

I usually try and pick my movie theater days and times to Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday if I leave work early or I go to a late showing that night.
I once went to Ted on a Tuesday night at 11:15pm and a couple brough an infant into it. They would take turns taking the baby to the lobby if it started crying.

Today's parents just have no sense of boundaries or public conduct.

I compare these kind of people along with joggers who bring their dogs with them JOGGING (do they even CARE that dogs' lung capacity and step lenght is VASTLY less than humans ???).
Why in the everloving HELL would you bring an INFANT into a noisy (even for adults) movie theatre ????????????
Do they even KNOW what that kind of decibel level could do to a baby's eardrums ????? No wonder the kid was crying....
Amazing......

I had a mexican group in front of me a few years back where there was one woman translating the whole damn movie to the rest of the group.
