I'm on day 5 of literally doing nothing productive but still giving the appearance of being swamped. I'm tempted to see how long I can go but I actually have a soft deadline where I'm expected to have produced something.

The fun thing about IT, is that they expect you to be slow about everything. It has taken me 2 weeks to complete a task before, and the people who requested it were all "Wow you guys operate fast"

I'm in a similar position. Only one other person in the company does what I do and nobody else knows anything about my job so I'm constantly making shite up and giving fake time frames for how long something can be done. I'm always trying to reign the other guy in because he's too honest.

So what the heck is nintendo going to do? I do want to get a Wii U at some point, but they are working on the next thing, right? So we know the new Zelda will be on the U, but what if they put off a new Metroid game to this NEXT console? As much as I love Zelda, Metroid is the one that makes me jimp and I'd be annoyed if it never showed up on the U.

They are working on the next thing just like all the companies are. There is no reason to believe the next console from them is coming any time soon.

Man, I just want to go home and play Tomb Raider. Brought the latest copy of Gaminformer and Rise of the Tomb Raider is featured. Not going to touch that article.

That's awesome. Tomb Raider doesn't get enough attention for how good it was partially because 2013 was a great year. I really might get the inevitable xbox 1 bundle for the holidays.
