No, but underachieving is one of the most painful things to experience as a fan.

I mean...we are underachieving, right? Butthurt [ON] OFF

We won't make the tourney. I said we needed five more wins. We aren't getting five more wins.

It will certainly be a disappointment if they do not make the Tournament. If the season ended today, I don't think we get in, but if we can win 5 more games (including tournament) I feel like we still get in.

If we are a 10 or 11 seed, no 6 or 7 seed will be excited when they see us penciled in next to them.

if they do make the tournament, i would hate to play us...this team can really beat anyone in the country but also lose to anyone.

upset city for whoever we play in the first round

Most underachieving since Chris Jackson, Stanley Roberts, and Shaq.

Great analysis. Remind me who that team lost to in the NCAAs and how many future, solid NBA players were on that team that beat us?

Gonna take a miracle at this point.

I've prepared myself for the fact that we're going to the NIT, and I'm okay with that. It appears this particular team and coach can only grow in baby steps, or, more aptly, 2 steps forward, one step back. It is what it is, so we might as well enjoy the rest of the season. As frustrating as they can be at times, I'll miss watching these guys play.

I asked a simple question that no one has answered. You just keep bringing up all sec as if that has any relevance to the discussion or the question.

multiple people have already pointed out that there are multiple nba prospects on this team. You have no idea who is going to do what in the future yet you keep acting like you do and that somehow means I'm wrong.

The poster i replied to keeps saying this year's squad is more talented than 2006 when 2006 had 1st team all sec pg (dmitch ,which he claims couldn't get off the bench this year), SEC DPOY and Freshman All american( tyrus), SEC POY and All American ( davis), and one of the best defensive guards in lsu history ( temple).
first, I made a lengthy and reasonable case that multiple people agreed with. Second, you're still using all the same flawed arguments. I answered all these useless points in the other thread and you haven't done anything to redeem them

you're right. It won't be. But the point everyone is making is how really really bad jones has done the last 2 seasons.

They are not going to make the NCAA tourney
they are one loss away from elimination and it would be nice to beat the Hogs and Ole Miss and will have to win at least 2 in sec tourney

This team can make the Sweet 16, I believe it..which is what makes this team so frustrating. I actually think this team is better than last years.

Yes, they really can. Only thing holding them back is coaching.

If were going to the NCAA get ready to go to Dayton for the play-in.

Either way, NIT/NCAA, this team isn't mentally or physically tough enough to last very long.
