Where does Spartacus rank as far as all-time series goes?

It's one of my top 5 favorites and after binge watching it again on Netflix, I didn't fully appreciate how well-acted, creative, and emotionally touching the first season was.
And the prequel half season and seasons 2 and 3 were also solid.
And like ever actor (outside of a handful) are from Australia. Spartacus 1 and 2, Crixus, Gannicus, and many more.
Not to mention the amount of eye candy for the fellas.

It's entertaining as hell. I mean really entertaining.
As far as quality plot, dialogue, and acting, it's not that good.

yeah it was straight up awesome. I think batiatus actor was from scotland. he was my favorite character.

Literally just finished the last episode a few hours ago. Binged watched it over 2 weeks on Netflix. This show is easily top 10...maybe top 5.

It's a damn entertaining show, and I've watched it twice. Mostly for the blood and the boobs.

It's very entertaining but massively overrated for quality on this board. It's fun, anything more than that is pretty absurd.

First season was gold... But for personal reasons I couldn't get a grip on the new Spartacus so Seasons 2 and 3 lost some appeal to me. Of course I still watched it haha.

No way I can agree with any of that.
In just season 1 alone, the plot was fantastic with all the intertwining sub plots.
The dialogue, from what I've read, is true in the manner in which they spoke. Obviously not English, but the way they formed sentences.
And acting? Man, this show is pretty well-acted from top to bottom. What got me was I'd forgotten how solid Crixus was when he broke down and showed emotion when Navia left.

It took me a few episodes into season 2 to come to terms that it was a new actor, but he looked pretty similar and after a while he just became Spartacus for me.

Season 4 pretty much sucked and brought down the overall grade for me. It's a fun series but all y'all putting it in your top 5s and 10s need to revisit some other series on your lists.

I'm currently watching this show and I love it. Hard to get used to the new Spartacus at first, but I eventually got over it. Starting Season 4 tonight.
