What's the timeline like for hearing back from these outfitters?

Thanks Roger, what months do these jobs typically run?

May - Sept. Some June, July and Aug. depending on how long someone can commit. Hell, I turned it into a career years ago.

It depends. Some of these guys use a screening service and it may be a couple of weeks or so. We try to reply the day we get them at our office, but may take a couple of days.

It's getting down to crunch time though, I've got a job fair at the college tomorrow and a couple of ski resorts next week.

We take apps directly from our website or through Coolworks.com.

I'm trying to get my daughter to sign up. She will be out for summer break and goes back in September.

It would be a great experience for her. If she's interested let me know, and what she may want to do.

She worked summers as a life guard at our state park pool not sure if that's something ya'll need. She would do good at something like this.

Working with the public is a plus. Most of these positions do full training so she'll be fine. If she's interested in rafting, it might be a good fit for her.

I have a daughter that this is right up her alley. BUT, they apparently have to find their own lodging and transportation which is probably a deal breaker.

I do have a buddy that is interested though. He is a student down in Starkville studying biology.

Always. Depends on where you would want to work but yeah..it's a highly desirable profession here.

I'll be taking boards in May. Won't be able to do it this summer, but would be interested in any information you might have in order to maybe plan for doing it Summer 2016.

Curious about pay, lodging, schedule, etc.

You're only young once, opportunity to work in a cool place with a lot of other young folks doesn't happen often. Tell him to send an email.
