I'm guessing Chavis letting all the assistants sign then backing out himself is what made Aleva go bonkers. We were on the hook for $400k to Brick. I think now that Brick is off the payroll the whole thing will go away.

I care, because his defense while good all year could not stop Bama the last 2 games in the clutch, UGA in Athens, and ND in the MCB this year and in the bowl game he already knew he was gone.
He didn't even fly home with the team, but left for his ranch in Knoxville. He also does not recruit well for LSU losing out on all 3 TN prospects and now's he's everywhere with Coach Sumlin for A&M.
After Bama, I want to beat A&M and have the offense run up the score on his D bad, ... or have us come back in the clutch to beat him like teams have done for years under the 3rd and Chavis regime. He was a tough coach, but I saw his interview after the MCB and he was a horse's arse to the reporter, because he knew.
FINE him and go get the money. He was always a mercenary just here for the money like Nicky and now he's gone for the money. Good riddance!
