I dont care if they dont change the name, but its obvious this is the new Mississippi. As already known, the sediment is taking the easier route.

The one where the land has built up is now. The one of less land was back in 84. That's what I assume he was asking

The difference is, its output isn't right at the continental shelf

Also, what is below Port Sulphur industry wise ? That would be the spot to blow out the levees

It's a long ways downriver from there to the mouth. Would have a chance to disperse before it fell to the bottom of the ocean

If you look a little west of wax lake outlet there is another one that looks to be a man made cut coming from Bayou Teche that is forming another delta.
