He really hasn't done much post SNL. That's why he is overlooked.

You know Chevy Chase is in bad shape when John Goodman looked better.

I'd like to see a list of notable former cast who were completely missing, and then speculate as to why. I'll start:

1) Dennis Miller
2) ?

One of the best skits ever. If you search for them, you will find a bunch of them...

Nothing new though. That's what I was wanting. And you can tell that the other Weekend Update Anchors knew he was the best when the second he opens his mouth they start chuckling. Norm should have just done business as usual on the desk and killed it, and then given Chevy his swan song on his own (which is what Chevy would have wanted since Norm was the only anchor he respected on the desk), and that's it.

I don't think he is well right now. Not sure what is going on with him but he is not right.

Chevy has always been crazy. He legitimately believed that he was THE star of the original cast and that he did Lorne Michaels a huge favor by delaying his movie career to launch SNL. Other cast members from that era don't even like to talk about him.

For Community, they had to film his scenes separately because he couldn't behave on set with the rest of the cast.

Way back when Bill Maher still hosted Politically Incorrect, I saw him get up to storm off the set one night because Steven Bochco talked back to him after Chase gave some snobby pot-head pseudo intellectual rant against television.

Heres a short history of his craziness Chevy Chase is nuts.

Oh wait. Victoria wrote about her tenure on SNL and the reunion on her website. It, of course, trails off into how Obama is a Marxist. Yay!

And Julia Sweeney posted this on twitter at the "pre party" for the show. So I guess they were there.
