I have no idea but what do you guys think?

My thoughts are.

Usually the Big XII is not very good

The B1G is good for an upset and a good semifinal

The ACC generally goes chalk but has good games, but adding Louisville and Notre Dame is interesting

The Big East who knows but is in MSG so should be good.

AAC is Memphis, SMU, UConn and just one semi seems good.

The Valley is a good final probably

SEC waiting to see if UK can go unbeaten

The MAC and MWC are generally crazy

MVC usually has a good show the week before the major conference tourneys start. Wichita and UNI will be great and if there is an upset or 2 even better.

The B1G is so up in the air right now it could be really entertaining.

I have high hopes for the new ACC tourney too.

I hate they moved Arch Madness final to Sunday.

The Monday Finals were so much fun.

We never won that bastard always got beat on craziness.

I still hate Deon Thomas and Bradley.

Beat us in semi on a weird turn around then next year beat us in final as we blew a 5 point lead.

The year we won it in the Arena was fun. Beat TU, was a student FB mgr then and we had a blast.

I've been to:

Big 12 (2004, 2005, 2013, 2014)
Mountain West(2006, 2012)
Missouri Valley (2007)
MAC (2008)
Colonial (2009)
Atlantic 10 (2010)
Big 10 (2011)

MAC was my favorite, followed by the Big 10 and Mountain West in Las Vegas in 2012. Big 12 atmosphere was fun last year but has been dead the prior years. Atlantic 10 was OK, Atlantic City was a good venue but the teams that won were too dominant. Colonial was fun as VCU won that year when they still had Anthony Grant.

This year? Big South should be a bloodbath with all those teams near the top of the standings. Mountain West will have more meaning this year as no team is guranteed a bid like in years past. If I had to pick I'd go to the MAC.

When I went in 2007 the final was on a Sunday and Creighton beat Southern Illinois.

I think its been on a Sunday since 2006. I remember it being on a Wednesday in 2004 when Greg McDermott's Northern Iowa team beat Barry Hinson's SW Missouri State team in overtime to win it

It's kind of lost its luster for me with Creighton gone. ISU has had some great moments in St Louis though. Osiris Eldridge going on a tear and nearly single handedly beating UNI the year they knocked off Kansas. Upsetting Gregg Marshall and Wichita to force the best bitch fit I have ever seen in 2012. Don't mention the beating they took by Drake in 2008 that put them in the first 4 out. Still bitter.

The problem when there are two dominant teams who are guaranteed NCAA bids, and they meet in the final, is that its anti climatic. More fun to see a team playing for an NCAA bid. When I went to the MVC tourney, two teams were guaranteed a bid before the tourney started, and those 2 teams made the final, making the final anti climatic.

I hated that Drake team so much. Flukiest team ever, they were garbage the year before and ever since.

The strategy was basically to drive the lane with PG Adam Emmenecker who would collapse the defense and then kick the ball out to 4 three point shooters. They just happened to hit enough of them to have a good year. But I loved watching them get beat on a 25 foot prayer to Western Kentucky at the buzzer in the NCAA.

Agreed. Hoping Wichita or UNI or both get upset early. Would love to see a team like ISU (or anyone not named Bradley) make a run.

Mother fricker stop calling them SW Missouri State

We were either SMS Southwest Missouri State or State

Trust me it is a big deal. I caused a huge stink with Russell with a contract when they called us SW Missouri St. I almost switched us to Rawlings.

That team and the 06 team got fricked hard by NCAA both had top 30 rpi and got sent to NIT

Our Sweet 16 team had no business getting an invite. We used Coach Alford's name to get it.

Biggest NCAA screw job of a mid major. I'm mad about ISU getting screwed, but you could argue the case of other teams. There was 0 argument against State in 2006.
