1.No, I will not tip you out of pity for the no skill job that you are holding.
2. I don't care if you don't have any control that the hostess quoted me a 15 minute wait which turned into a 45 minute wait.
3. I don't care you don't have control of the food that came out lukewarm.
4. I don't care that the kitchen gave you the wrong order.
Start holding waiters/waitresses accountable. They are the face of the restaurant to the customer. If you continue to blindly tip, service is going to continue to be subpar. You deserve to make $2.13, YOU HAVE ZERO SKILLS. I do not feel pity for you. I will not tip you for sub-average or even average service.

The proper way to handle the situation is to tip the waiter if THEY served you properly. Then, find the email/number of the GM or head chef, and speak with them directly.

Well, 4 can be legitimately put on the waiter if it's something serious. I mean, it's not their fault if you order a burger with no pickles, and there are pickles between the meat and bun. But there are definite situations where the waiter could catch that the order is wrong prior to the food being brought to the table.
