ok, so my latest service call, the person was trying to run their video through their computer and had somehow crammed an HDMI cord into their USB slot..........

I've had some great conversations with our IT guy. He got a call about a computer that "hadn't worked in months." The guy never turned it on

Our DTS guys just got a PC the guy said didn't work correctly. He still had XP. We haven't had an XP machine in 3-4 years
He came to inquire about it and they literally laughed at him and said they had to build a new one b/c they couldn't return a pc with XP to him

my wife works in a department on campus that has gone 100% digital, there is 0 way to request the services physically, yet there is still 1 professor on campus that still turns in a "card" for the services... she's all

I used to be a normal tech doing support, but I now manage a small team of techs. I get to hear some wonderful stories about doctors, nurses, engineers, etc. You have no idea how terrible people can be with technology.
