Has anyone played this ball? I'm a long time ProV1x player. Just wondering if the MSB had any reviews. TIA

Eta: I noticed its 37.99 a dz.

Interested as well. Heard some decent reviews but then again I don't see many negative reviews for golf equipment.

I've heard nothing but good about it

I've been playing the supersofts still

They are a really good ball for the price. I do find they are a little clicky off the putter though so I had to kind of adjust

I have used the SuperSoft a good bit as well. Cheap sleeve to buy if I'm running low at the course.

Feels like you're hitting nothing when you really connect on a driver but never noticed too much distance lost. Loved the feel with wedges. I really like the ball and the reason I'm interested in the ChromeSoft.

I can't see it worth twice the price

I can no longer putt with cheap balls. Bought some Nike RZN red, and it's like putting a ping pong ball

It's basically the Supersoft with a Urethane cover. I hit a sleeve and they ballooned terribly for me. Whether they would work for you is just something you'd have to try and see. I'm not paying $40+ for them with tax. They're not worth it.

I'm anxious to try the new Duo Spin though.

I have a dozen that was given to me, I don't care for them really, I'll stick with ProV1X.

These balls correct?

I prefer a softer ball. My favorite is the Wilson Staff Duo. In my opinion, its the best bang for your buck out there. It is softer than the Callaway, but doesn't sacrifice distance. I don't have to adjust club lengths for it. It feels very confidence inspiring around the green as well.

I played the Taylormade Project(a) last year. Around $30/dz. picked up 10 yards off the tee vs. a prov1 (straighter too), but the cover is urethane and they spun nice with the wedges.

I made the switch to the chrome soft from the proV1 two weeks ago. I like the softer feel around the greens, and I consistently get 5-10 more yards off the tee. I'm interested to see if that holds true once the weather warms up as well. Chrome soft is a great ball though.

I have never hit a callaway ball I have liked. Always had poor durability and terrible feel. Plus the "click" noise of the putter face is deal breaker.

The click off the putter face is gone with chrome soft.
