Any Helmet fans here? One of my favorite bands. Going see them in Shreveport next month, so figured I'd pull up a recent video to see how they sound live nowadays. It's been years since I've seen them. They still sound amazing. Anybody else planning to go to the Shreveport show or the one in New Orleans a few days prior?

I'll be going to the New Orleans show. they're playing Betty all the way through. I saw them do Meantime a few years ago so this should be awesome. Page's voice isn't as good as the old days but his new band sounds good. The current drummer is from New Orleans. He's no John Stanier but he's really solid.

Yeah it looks like Betty from front to back in order and then a second set that's about an hour/hour and a half. Did you see them with Crowbar years back at Tips I believe?
I watched a 2 hour video of them in Prague from this tour late last year and it was very crisp. They sound amazing.

The first time I saw them was with Crowbar, Saint Vitus and Kylesa. Red Fang was there too but I missed them. It was an awesome show.

Underrated band. Betty, Meantime and Aftertaste were all great albums.

I'm planning on going to the Shreveport show. I can't say that I'm a huge fan but I like them and it's been a while since I've been to a good rock show.

Cool man. Post a review on Wed if you feel like it. If their recent YouTube videos are any indication, it will be a good show. Even though all of the other members are about half of Page's age! Looks like he's playing with his sons.
