Will be tough. If we played like today, it should be possible.

Our guards need to realize they need to feed M&M. Some of them think they are NBA guards. Please let Patterson play more.

I'm with 6 of the next 7, we really needed another resume win.

I fricking love this team, but they play to the level of their competition. Every game. Losses to Mizzou, MSU, A&M, and Auburn make me want to quit my job tomorrow.

We play Arkansas twice. That is going to be tough.

I think 5 of 7 will get it done but just barely.

You do realize that a team can only play with max intensity a few times per year. We had this game circled on the schedule for months. Proud of our effort tonight, but we shot our load tonight. We'll revert to normal play from here on out. Doubt we'll win enough to make the Dance.

The next 3 games are going to be really tough

@ UT
@ aTm
vs. a vengeful UF team

Ugh, I could see us losing all 3, but hopefully we make it 2 for 1

That's going to be a very, very challenging feat for this team. I'm scared of going on the road to Knoxville and Fayetteville. Florida could potentially have that "revenge" factor and Donvanon is a terrific coach. The Ole Miss game won't be a gimmie either. LSU's going to be in the position where they must win a couple of games in the SEC Tournament to get into the NCAA Tournament imo.

This is exactly how I feel at the moment. It's so god damn frustrating how we play down to our competition when you can see the potential.

I believe we'll go the same route of our football team after the deflating Bama loss when we got shut out and gave fat arse his first SEC win. I want to be optimistic but I'm having a hard time to do so. Wouldn't surprise me in the least if we're on the couch during March Madness

I'm thinking NIT (maybe). This team may tank after this one. Most frustrating team I've ever watched at LSU. The level of fundamental basketball ineptness is mind numbing.

yes, I think we'll be emotionally spent this Saturday on the road at Tennessee. I can easily see a double digit loss.

It's just very, very difficult to get back "up" a few days after a huge emotional expenditure, especially on the road. Same as football with the Arkansas debacle a week after the Bama game.

Unfortunately I see LSU going 4-3 rest of the way. Putting them at 21-10 (10-8) and needing a deep run in the SEC tourny to make it. With that record those bad losses are going to hurt.

Hope I am wrong.

Summarizes my thought exactly...unfortunately!

That would put us 22-9 going into the SEC tournament. I wouldn't feel comfortable with a first-round SEC tournament loss in that situation. The only thing that would make LSU a lock going into the SEC tournament would be to win out. Anything less, and we need at least one or two wins in the SEC tournament.

It all depends on who the 2 losses are to. If one is to Auburn, then forget it.

this team could go on a nice NCAA tournament run, or lose in the first round.....of the SEC tournament.
