After Hornsby's steal and layup to put us up 6 at 7:35 mark, it is acceptable for boys to smell victory. It's JJ's job to bring them home. In bonus, we shot 2 FTs down stretch. Every possession should have had Mickey or Martin going to rim, including last 2.

On the bright side, we at least got the ball inbounds after the last 2 timeouts.

Any other SEC team I would agree. But Kentucky is stacked and Towns simply took over.

maybe it was, but gray decided he was going to be the difference....once jacking up a very quick shot with about 3 minutes to go, and again, with the shot clock running down, decides to take it right at a 7 footer......

No, we struggle at the end because we are tired. It's that simple.

Everybody who says some version of "this is on the coach" is a pussy.

We go up by 6 after a 21-2 run and the offense completely stalls. Should have kept going inside.

Why is it the players in basketball, but when bad angles on defense cost us 2 games vs Bama it's coaching?

Did you start a thread to praise coach for the first 33 minutes? How about for making necessary adjustments to go on a huge run after being down 13 in the second half?

Look, he obviously wasn't perfect down the stretch, but you have no clue what the called plays were. Isn't it possible that the players didn't execute the called plays? Maybe Kentucky just tightened up and played outstanding defense down the stretch. After all, they are the best defensive team in the country.

This shite is getting ridiculous. Every single loss is put on CJJ's shoulders by some of you.

It is on Gray. JJ has depth issues and for some reason trusts Gray more. Gray might be talented but he makes bad decisions.

No. I thought gray had an overall nice game, especially after an awful showing Saturday. He played some outstanding defense
