Top 10 in. All the usual suspects but interesting the amount of top 10s with OOS interests.

I enjoy someone giving Rashard Lawrence his due respect. Not only is the guy a great physical specimen with a motor, he's a teammate that others will play for b/ c of his passion.

#10 Malcom Roach 6'3"245 lb MLB. That seemed to come out of left field. Hadn't heard of him but says in the mold of Kendall Beckwith and Denzal DeValle. We could use a LB like that especially now that Chavis is gone. Hope the analysis is on and that their is a mutual interest. We of course need LB's in the biggest way and here is a new name right at home.

Does he have a name? It's like it's forbidden to mention the guy's name..

I see it's Lindsey Scott. The guy currently committed to GT I believe.

I was being a butthurt smartass. I pump his stock on here - not so much because I want him at LSU but the kid deserves more recognition than he is getting from the recruiters. Kid wants to play college ball.

despite this putting us with only 3-4 more OOS commits?

Ed Alexander, DT, 6-2, 310, St. Thomas Aquinas
Rashard Lawrence, DT, 6-3, 300, Neville

Willie Allen, OL, 6-6, 275, John Curtis

some DE's could become LB's

and some DT's could be OL

Would be fine honestly but it won't happen.
The only DL that may move over is Taylor. Rest are DL only.
Too many DEs. We probably evaluate and offer the top 2-3 and take them and thats only if we miss oos. I will admit though that you never know with Coach O. He has a tendency yo overload the DL.

I know everyone is falling over for this idea that we are going towards a Bama like 3-4 but it isn't happening. We will run some 3 man fronts but not like people are hoping or thinking. Our base DL will continue to be 2 DEs and 2 DTs. We will get bigger LBs but that is just preference by Steele. Not an indication of the 3-4. If over time the 3-4 is better suited to the talent then that transition may be made but that's 3-4 years down the road. For all intents and purposes a lifetime since this entire staff could be blown up by then. Les has 2 years guaranteed. until then we have to go with what we have and that's 4 man front personnel. But it is fun to discuss so have at it.

With the rankings, niy a lot to complain about at all. Some will rise, some will fall as always. Nice baseline to start with.
Only thing I'm not understanding, Willie Allen is ranked 8th and the blurb about him says he is clearly the top OL in the state and its not close. Common thought that very few would disagree with(I am one though). However in the Stephon Taylor blurb it says if he were dedicated and set on playing OT then he'd be top 8. So if Allen is #8 and clearly the top guy without it being close then how would Taylor be top 8 as an OT? Tells me that Taylor is closer to Allen than most think. I happen to agree. Allen is not Cam Robinson and that is not close. He's more Greg Robinson but not as athletic. Robinson was a top 5 pick so not a huge difference but he was also very boom or bust. That's how I see Allen. He's far from a sure thing. Love to have him though. Minor thing but someone has to complain about something other than the layout right?

Its called thought provoking... Jimmie knows who it is.

The whole point is how could anyone with those accolades not be in the state top 50 regardless of his name.
