With a high powerball jackpot this week, time to crush some dreams...

I never play the lottery but I'm playing this week.

I haven't played in a long time. Bought 20 tickets yesterday.

I've already submitted my resignation.

yes the odds are universally against but it only takes one, and you can't win if you don't play. So why not spend a couple of bucks? Makes perfect sense to me once in a while.

If you are playing to win, you are wasting money. If you are playing to day dream then the money is well spent...

Ha, I agree. There are 2 sets of odds. 0 and a very small number greater than 0. I just buy the 1 ticket.

I once had a client that had an employee put in his notice and he said "I'm going to win the Powerball this weekend so I'm retiring."

They later found out he was pranking his employer. His grandfather had died and left him a large sum of money so he didn't have to work any more.

He freaked the employer out.

Took me 227 years playing my lucky numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, but I finally hit the $1mill prize. Seems worth it.
