The guy that walked to work for 10 years.....

with only 3 hours to sleep every day. I don't buy it. Call me a jerk a-hole or whatever you want I think this dude is a fraud. I can't see how someone can walk 21 miles a day 5 days a week. With only enough time to get 3 hours sleep before has to start walking again and did this for supposedly 10 plus years? Yeah I am not buying it.

I agree...or why didn't he have a fricking car..he couldn't get a 1000 dollar beater to drive him 21 miles? Just another democrat wanting free shite and people to feel sorry for him....yes I'm an a-hole

I read an article yesterday on NPR.com about this guy. They've raised over $300,000 and a business (possibly a local car dealership) was giving him a new Ford Taurus. NPR interviewed a guy who was an acquantance and who ocassionally gave him a ride. He was worried about the man's safety. He said the guy lives in a really, REALLY bad neighborhood and he's worried that the guy will be attacked "by some stupid person who thinks he's walking around with $300,000 in his pocket."
As further evidence of how bad the neighborhood is, and possibly how bad the walker's driving record is, insurance on that new Taurus is $933 per MONTH!
It's really a crazy story. It definitely sounds unbelievable, but maybe it's actually true.

Why would you walk 21 miles to a job that doesn't afford you the luxury of a conveyance?
