Next QB on the list? Would be a good fit to go with Franks.

Wow. Great size. Great QB name. Don't know anything else about him. Mobile? Smart? Arm strength? Accuracy?

Kelley is a really intriguing prospect, and I think Cameron will strongly vet him. From a mechanics standpoint, there's really not a whole lot to work on. He sometimes collapses a little bit on the back side on deep throws, and he needs to work on ball security when he runs, but he's really pretty fundamentally sound. If he weren't, it would be really apparent with someone his size. He reminds me some of Kerry Collins on his deep balls and he has good wheels for someone his height. Definitely wouldn't be disappointed in the slightest to have he and Franks in this class.

Damn he's HUGE

Does he have a cannon to go with that 6'7" frame?

How athletic is he? Good touch on passes?

It seems LSU is more interested in kids OOS. This kid looks just like Ryan Mallett. Obviously we don't know how anyone will fair in an SEC game and film can be misleading. But if you are looking for presence and arm talent, this kid is legit and is the second best QB in this state.

Do we know if he is on the radar of Cameron/Miles?

Really good arm. Not JaMarcus, Mallett, Mettenberger type zip, but really good. Very good athlete for a guy his size.

He's got an arm and is a good athlete. Good basketball player that plays like a stretch 4. He makes some unbelievable passes look effortless in the games I've seen him. Needs to camp this summer.

I wonder if they are waiting for him to come to camp. I've been interested in this guy as well.

watched him in person against stm. guys, he's the real deal. he showed poise, leadership, and a TON of heart in that game. deceptive speed and agility for a guy his size.

oh, and an absolute rocket arm

A few thoughts after watching his Hudl video:

1. He has a big time arm. Can put zip on his passes. Can throw rolling out and across his body.

2. Decent mobility. Ran fairly well on zone-read keepers.

3. He threw it behind receivers a couple times on short to mid-range slants. They caught it but had to reach back for it. He also tends to throw off his back foot and fall away on deep throws rather than planting his feet and stepping into the throw. But those things can be corrected.

4. I've read elsewhere he may have maturity, attitude issues. Not sure to what extent. Would be interested to know more about the kid.

Overall, he looked kind of like a younger Mett with better mobility. I think he has big time talent. If the attitude issue isn't big, I wouldn't mind seeing LSU offer him.

Would he be ok with being the second QB in the signing class?
