So all joking aside from this EG talk, what do we do with the lineup when Jrue is healthy. Tyreke is ballon at the point and our rotation is nice!

Interesting question. That's all I've got.

Monty should figure out a way to have Jrue or Tyreke handling the ball 47 minutes per game.

Easy bring him off the bench and slowly work him back in.

Jrue would have to play with the 2nd team right now. Tyreke has too much chemistry, and is playing too well with the starters.

Honestly it is not that complicated. No need to play anyone in the backcourt not named EG/Reke/Jrue

Mix in some 3-guard lineup and they could each average 34.

Jrue coming back can only help. No more Jimmer/salmons/Babbitt.

Yeah, with "utility" SFs like Pondexter and Cunningham, the 3 guard lineup could work.

Jimmer is a nice option off ball with the 2s. If Gordon/Evans continue to pass like this, Jimmer will be quite useful. And he's been feisty enough on defense.

The Jimmer as PG shite has to stop though. It is painful.

Play him more with the 2nd team. Not completely, but more than he used to

I concur. Tyreke is playing lights out. Let Jrue start on the bench this time and let him earn the starting position again.

Having players like Reke and Ryno coming off the bench is massive. Once Jrue comes back, we're looking at some of the best 3 man frontcourt and backcourt rotations in the NBA + two capable SFs. Plus we'll have the MLE to add another key player next season (though I'm thinking Cunningham will go for more than the room level now).

It really doesn't matter who starts. Its not like our starting lineups weren't successful before even with a massive hole in the 3s. What Jrue should allow us to do is make us never have to play more than 8. The only trash player that should ever be on the floor is Ryno on the days that he isn't hitting 3s.

And I gotta give it Ryno's D today. It was very effective even though he didn't shoot well. Blocked or altered lots of shots and held his guy off the boards.

I'm not too worried. Despite his great play from our point of view, his Per 36 and advanced stats numbers are down pretty significantly vs. his career numbers and he's never gotten paid more than $2 million per year. LINK

QPon and DC basically split the SF mins. QPon can play some SG and DC can play some PF

AD/Asik/Ryno split the C/PF mins (Obviously AD would have a bigger chunk then other 2).

Jimmer can fill the "shooter" role for stretches of necessary.

Our 8 top guys really give us a bunch of flexibility. Monty just has to not throw terrible lineups on the floor. With everyone healthy, he should have no reason to but we will see.

So what happens when one of the three inevitably goes down and the backups have no clue what they're doing?

You don't narrow the rotation down like so many here are demanding until the playoffs, man.
