When running my satellite receiver through my Xbox One, picture will freeze and no sound is present.

When running my satellite receiver directly to my TV, picture is perfect as well as sound.

I've changed HDMI cables and I've reset my XBox One to factory defaults. Is there anything else I could or should be doing before I contact Microsoft?

What provider do you have?

My XB1 and DirecTv box didn't jive, so I disconnected them. A quick Google search showed that others have had the same problems, similar you yours and mine.

I'm running my Directv through the XB1(HDMI) along with a Vizio soundbar(optical cable). No issues. The only thing I had to add was this LINK due to the location of my Directv receiver.

I run a DirecTv HR24 receiver through a Xbox One console to a Samsung UN60H7150 television and have had zero issues.

I had been using this same setup for almost 9 months and never had any problems up until the other day. Have to believe I have a defective XBox, right?

I have the newest Genie model DirecTV going through my Xbox one then through my Denon receiver and don't have an issue.

I have Directv and don't have too many issues. Every once in a while i'll have the same issue where the picture freezes and no sound but then it fixes itself after about 7-10 seconds. Still trying to figure out of running my system through the XB1 is the right way to go or even worth it.
