He wants to run the ball and Saban told him this week he will play RB at Bama. Miles told him this week he wants him to play LB at LSU. The kid is legit at either position. I know he is committed to LSU but people I know that are friends of his say he is leaning toward Bama because Miles wants him to play LB.

Good LBs make more money and have longer NFL life than RBs. That being said, he can play whatever he wants.

THey have MUCH better rbs than him not going to Bama because of the logjam at RB.
And this high school kid lets Saban stroll in and tell him he can play RB? God speed young man..

Shepard asked to be moved to WR/RB, he wanted to get on the field as soon as possible. As a QB he would have needed several years at best to develop, even then his chances of playing in the NFL as a QB were slim.

The only thing we offered Shep was the opportunity to play QB when he got on campus. Which we gave him and he realized he would never see the field at QB because he couldn't throw, he switched to WR.

He is a tremendous talent but he is lacking a lot in character. He is full of himself will be our next Landon collins
