Will Serena go down as the best ever?

Or is this blasphemy? I know if she had been more motivated she may have had one or two more majors but damn she's impressive. 19 majors and counting. She's passed up martina and could catch Steffi if she stays dedicated to the sport.

serena at her best is the best female tennis player ever

An awful human being is someone who cheats, lies, steals, murders, etc. People throw around the descripter too much about people in the public domain.

Serena is 3 GS titles short of Graf, and 5 short of Court. However, she played in a far more competitive era. The quality of the field is much, much deeper than it was in Graf's time, and certainly more than in Court's time.
But I still have to give it to Navratilova. She revolutionized the women's game, and on top of winning 18 titles, she went to 34 GS finals. Also, I think her doubles record is relevant. She won 31 GS doubles titles and 10 mixed doubles titles.
That's 59 Grand Slam titles. She is one of only two players ever, Margaret Court being the other, to win the singles, doubles, and mixed doubles titles in the same year at the same GS event. Admittedly, some of that is the competition level, but she did have Graf show up to ruin the last half of her career.

Serena has 19 singles, 13 doubles, and 4 gold medals
Graff has 22 singles, 1 doubles, and 1 gold medal
Serena already is better than Graff but she will easily get three more titles in singles and make it even more obvious

Also if Seles doesn't get stabbed Graff prolly has around 14 or 15 titles only. Seles dominated her and tennis

I don't like her, don't really like watching her matches. But yeah she's the best female tennis player EVER.

If you wanna go down the doubles route, Serena gets killed by Martina. 59 to 34 (Serena has 2 mixed doubles titles). And gold medals aren't comparable there because tennis wasn't an Olympic sport in Martina's prime.
If you want to include doubles titles to prove Serena is ahead of Graf, then you have to admit that Navritalova has 25 more titles than Serena. Which, technically speaking, is a lot.

But you can't use the shoulda woulda coulda argument. Injuries and other career Enders are a part of sport. Longevity is a factor.
