Adjustable Regulator Recommendations?

I need a new regulator for my jambalaya rig, and I'm thinking I want something adjustable instead of the non-adjustable high pressure one I'm replacing. I'm assuming a top end of 30 psi would be more than enough for the 10" banjo, but I haven't seen a ton of options. What are y'all using, would you recommend it, and why?

That's what I have on my banjo. Any chance of posting a pic of your burner?

The adjustable 0-30? What brand and how do you like it? Only one I've seen is the bayou classic, and I have to say it seems pretty cheaply made...

I can post one tomorrow since I don't have a pic of it on my phone. It's a homemade job, basically stainless pipe on casters with some bent tubing to hold the feet of the pot in place.

The usual suspects never last. You need to find a heavy duty regulator, the kind wit the pin-handle top. Dunno the brand name, but they're usually painted red with a brass stem and pin handle. You will get years of service out of this kind, unlike the cheaper versions.

Not sure the brand off hand. I'll check this evening and reply. I haven't had it long, maybe 6 months. It replaced the crappy factory regulator that had the auto shut off mechanism that made using the burner something less pleasant than a root canal.

Mine looks very similar and that is right in the price range.

I don't run regulator on my 15 gal setup which was purchased from R&R Welding. I control my fire with a needle valve and have never had any issues. In my opinion the regulator is just another thing that can go out on you when trying to cook.

I'll try a cook sans regulator and see what I think...
