Probably the best bet for this kind of visitor.

If you like him enough to want him to get a little local vibe, send him down to Port of Call for a burger and baked potato. Make sure to tell him to get there early so he's not standing in a line.
Order a monsoon to chill him out.

Tell him to stay home and eat wonder bread sammiches. I don't even give retards like that an answer when I get those sorts of stipulations. And then, if I still encounter them, I usually mock them for awhile.

Ya'll need to tone it down. The anti food snob posse is going to get pissed off about this thread and start whining.

well thats retarded

Even though I don't really like him, I'm still trying to help the guy. He is old and pretty set in his way. He has never been to NOLA.

Better yet, send him to Oceana. Between the food, location and clientele he'll have a stroke

Krewe du Vieux. A very rowdy satirical parade. Very.. uh, flamboyant.

I'm excited to go! He doesn't seem like the type to be, though.

It usually just goes through the quarter, but it's going through the CBD/Warehouse District this year, as well (i.e., basically anywhere around where this poor hayseed may end up).
