I don't, but I'm pretty sure Law Enforcement and the school administration had a better idea than any of us do.

Bomb threat was written on the wall of the girls bathroom stall at the Middle school. They admin knew about it on Wednesday. They had cops all over the campus. I agree that the admin should have let the parents know about it earlier.

So they know who made the threat? What else is there to worry about?

I agree, but what would have you done differently?

The admin took the proper steps and came to the conclusion that the school was safe.

As a parent you either trust the administration or you don't.

What would you have done different? Hold your kid out for a day when the administration has already said there is not threat?

Are you saying the school system should be able to determine whether or not to inform parents of a bomb threat?

Is this bizzarro world I've awoken to?

That's for every parent to decide. Maybe I would keep my child home, and my decision to keep my child home would have no bearing on if I trust the administration or not

So, as a parent, you would not send your kids to DPS today.

That isn't what I said. I said exactly what I meant to say, and it can't be any clearer

Which is fine. Include that in a call and email

Trust is kind of the point here. I should trust the admins to keep me informed if a death threat occurs, even if it doesn't seem credible. They failed at keeping the parents informed.

And no, it isn't an either/or situation.

This. It is simple risk management too. If they took the necessary steps, inform the parents of that and let them make the decision
