LaBeouf was excellent in Fury.

He should have at least gotten a Best Supporting nod.

I though Shia and Lerman were really good. Didn't think Brad Pitt was all that good though, which is probably why the movie isn't loved by critics

I never thought he was a bad actor. Strange guy, but I don't have any problems with his acting personally.

I don't disagree, but I do think he has taken on some roles that don't fit him.

Sometimes I just can't look past him being Louis Stevens.

Then again I guess Ben Foster had a similar start, and has done well. However, he never came off as being forced down your throat as he got older.

Haven't seen Fury, but I think the dude is a good actor. He gets a lot of shite for being a little nuts but all of the good ones have a little crazy in 'em.

It might be time to finally forgive him for destroying Indiana Jones.

Call me crazy but LaBeouf wasn't the reason the last IJ sucked. I think he's a pretty good actor.

Very good movie.

Labeouf was kinda hidden in the trailers so wasn't expecting him to be a major character but he laid it down. He was good.

I definitely think they tried to down play him a bit. He was very good though. I didn't mind Pitt but thought he was playing a watered down version of his character from Inglorious Bastards. That being said, if he had just used that character in this movie it would have been awesome.

If you remove Shia from Indiana Jones completely the movie is still absolutely awful.

I respect any actor that is willing to break away from their Disney/sex symbol image and do more challenging roles. Channing Tatum and Matthew McConaughey immediately come to mind.

Good to know.

I almost rented Fury recently, but didn't when I saw he was in it.

I'll have to see it now.

I just watched Fury and didn't know going in that Shia was in the movie. At first I was all "shite, not this guy again," but he was good. He definitely didn't douche it up like he normally does.

I actually thought Bernthal put in the best performance of the group. Played his character perfectly IMO - I hated his fricking guts. Which is what I was supposed to do.

Really, all the performances in this movie were good. Pena was miscast and his character didn't belong, but that's no fault of his.

I remember watching a Disney movie with my kids years ago when he played a kid with autism. Remember thinking then that he was going to be a really fine actor one day. He's just a free spirit/crazy arse. He will be alright. I have always liked Shia LaBeouf.
