Mom slashes kids' throats to make them stop crying

When officers arrived at the Olympia, Washington, home Saturday night, they found a troubling scene. As spelled out by a local prosecutor, police saw the twins on the couch crying "uncontrollably" and "bleeding from their necks."
One officer then went upstairs and found the couple's 2-year-old in bed, under the covers with "dry blood all over her."

The article says she was being medicated for postpartum depression.

Man I've been pushed to my wits' end with my son crying the first few months. I've felt sooooo bad for being pissed and cursing that he wouldn't sleep and feeling myself tense up and everything. But NEVER, I mean NEVER could I imagine actually hurting him. This make me sick to my stomach.
