To be fair....he did admit he was wrong. But wtf is a high school coach doing interfering with an LSU player in this manner? Can't imagine LSU coaching staff are too happy with him right now.

I asked someone who has been a state champion coach in Louisiana today about this and the first words out of his mouth were "ignore anything that moron says. He's clueless and a loudmouth."

I cannot believe how people think that Freshman are supposed to come in and start? In the old days he would be on the Freshman Team. Probably would Red Shirt his Sophomore Year and maybe get to play his Junior Year. He could be like Flynn and start his Senior Year and win a NC!

If memory serves, Mike Leach @ TT had a new senior starting QB like four or five years that had seen the field only for mop up - each set NCAA records breaking the previous guy's record - may be difficult for the youngsters, or in this case some coaches, in this day and age, to accept the fact that instant gratification only comes to a few truly gifted athletes - gotta put in the time & dedication - this staff is not gonna just give you the reins until you earn it in the class room, film study & practice field

Dude you're the moron that coach is a bigger Brandon Harria fan than LSU fan and to see how he was not given a fair shot to play when our offense couldn't move the ball over and over again... I agree with the coach I'm a huge lsu but I would transfer if I was BH

I think a lot of people are missing the point because he made the statement that he should transfer. The real basis of his comments is that LSU and Miles have consistently lied to Brandon and to the public about the QB situation and he was sticking up for his player.

David Feaster is a POS. He was a POS when he coached at Many and he's still a POS coaching at Parkway.

That is exactly what he is saying. I always laugh when I hear about a guy transferring after only his freshman year. In nearly all of the cases, the guy is a redshirt freshman who probably wasn't going to play much early anyway. Harris has freaking played more than any true freshman QB since Jordan Jefferson back in 08, and Jefferson played out of necessity because of an injury.

Harris's other two teams he was highly interested in were Auburn and OSU. If Harris went to Auburn, he'd been behind Marshall for one year then Jeremy Johnson for possibly the next two years, finally starting as a fourth year player. Had he went to OSU, he'd be behind Cardale, Miller, and Barrett for 3 years, finally starting as a fourth year player.

So look, you got your wish, you played early. You got some experience, you were humbled, and you figured out that you need to work much, much harder. Now you pretty much have the position won. Jennings is peanuts competition compared to the elephants at the other schools of your choice. Go out there and take it. You could be a three year starter if you wanted, surrounded by a stupid amount of talented pass catching weapons.

Who cares what his basis is? What has Miles lied to Brandon about? Brandon played early correct? He competed in the spring and jumped two guys already here correct? He even started a game for goodness sakes. Brandon actually had no business playing at all this year. This guy was a redshirt candidate if I ever did see one. His accuracy was a major cause for concern as well as him being a stick figure.

What the hell does that coach even know? He is not at practice and can't see if Harris is lighting it up or not. He doesn't know if Harris gets the playbook enough to the coaches' desired level or not. He doesn't know if the guy knows his reads or can even tell what a defense is doing.

IMO this is what set Jennings apart. He had the mental aspect down. He is terrible passing the ball, but he knows what is going on, can get the checks in, knows the playbook, and very rarely messes up on which way to run (he did this like once). He's calmer in the pocket (maybe a little too calm) and doesn't run at the slightest hint of pressure.

And please don't compare high school defense to the SEC.

The fact of the matter is that too many 4-5 star quarterbacks have a sense of entitlement that they should be viewed as a program savior once they enroll on campus, starting early, and living the dream when reality is that most have no business doing so. 10-15 years ago it was virtually unheard of to see a top program start true freshman at quarterback, no doubt the most important position in the game of football. Yet, patience seems lost as a virtue, and you're seeing more of those guys become unhappy and looking for a way out instead of realizing the facts of the position they're in.

Transferring out could he seen as a new start, a fresh opportunity, but it's not always a winning lottery ticket for a career. Harris should just ante up, put in the work and earn the fricking position in spring practice.

This subject really ticks me off because it shows me how our fans are just like our head coach morons..... Y'all are to blind because you are lsu fans to see how brandon Harris was just crapped on this year game after game watching our offense throw the ball putridly.... Our head coach is a stubborn idiot... Feaster also was right on when he said we went after a QB this recruiting season but who the hell wants to play QB for LSU NOBODY!!!! Best weapons in the land with a play book like you're middle school team.... Line up in the I formation 80% of he time it's a joke.... 5 star talented receivers 2 deep and we can't throw for a buck 50
