When I was working in the area, I really enjoyed ordering their daily plate lunch specials. They are an underrated item on their menu.

Surprised the one on Govt. still open. One by LSU used to be great. Learned to love cheese fries there.

The government street one is the best one and it's average to slightly above average most of the time. The rest are mediocre at best. There are much better options for burgers, sandwiches, fried seafood, and po'boys.

BB is ok, decent burgers and poboys. I think George's does a better job across the board

The gumbo is pretty decent at that location.

Even its most staunch defenders can't muster more than a half-arse endorsement of the place, usually along the lines of "you could do worse." To me that screams steer clear.

I grew up on Brew Bachers, maybe nostaglia, but i really like it. Club Sandwich is solid, good Burger. I like the chicken and cheese po-boy. Good chicken fingers. Cheese fries, yum.

It's not bad, nothing special though. It's a good lunch.

Used to go there all the time in college and get the honey mustard chicken club croissant after a session

I live nearby and go occasionally. I like their hamburger steak a lot. My problem is I think the prices are too high for what they give you. The prices aren't too high to keep me from ever going but when I do I feel like I am splurging a little and that is a shame for that kind of food.
