The CO2 overwhelms the oxygen?

How long does it take? I don't have a termite issue just very curious to learn new things.

The insect consumes available O2 and has nothing left (almost nothing) but CO2.

Like someone said. They will die if left out in the sun. Also, methyl bromide is what is used to treat agriculture that is imported into the States. It's not toxic to humans in small amounts. I bag 40' containers full of timber and gas for 24 hours, which the USDA requires of me.

There is also a commercial kiln around Baton Rouge. If you are super worried, you could heat the lumber to about 145 degrees to fry those pesky bastards.

This 4yo thread was bumped by devin who apparently wants the OP to use his Australia based services to rectify the termite situation.
