"He looked more like a bear coming out than he did a hog," Bruce told ABC affiliate WLOS-TV. "He was seven foot four inches long. Five foot wide on the hide side. The cutter teeth on the bottom were four inches long."

His commentary is classic.
That's a big trucking pig!

Bruce and his son then dragged the massive Russian Razorback to his pickup truck. The mammoth animal is now helping feed his family.
"Last Saturday morning I ate tenderloin at 9:00am and by Saturday afternoon I was eating sausage," Bruce said.
1. 2 guys dragging a 700lb pig?
2. I can't imagine a 700lb boar being worth anything as table fare

There are some red flags that pop out. He was quick to butcher it and not show it off. The pic also is standard pig up front, hunters a few feet back

Judging by the sound of things, I believe ole Bruce would eat just about anything.

Was reading on message boards from that area that this guy is always been full of shite. Hog didn't even bust 400lbs and he refused everybody that tried to help him weigh it with proper scales. He drove it around all day after he killed it showing everybody, hung it for the night didn't skin it till late the next day after reporters filmed it and people stopped to look....again not letting anyone weigh it even when reporters showed up with a scale from the slaughter house.

No way it was 700+, they would have needed a cattle scale to say it properly

Always heard you can weigh the head an X 10 and it will tell you a close weight

That is not a 70.7lb head

The guy is so far behind the pig in the picture you can almost see his feet. Has to be 5 feet back.

My thoughts:
1. Big pig
2. I would give him 350lbs, but not 707lbs. (Who has a scale that precise?) The other pic really tells the tale.
3. No way wild pigs get that big (707lbs) without serious supplemental feeding, as in sitting in a pen and eating all day long.
Oh and complete and total BS on the five foot wide comment.

He must have been weighed on the official Swamp People scale.
