Get off of your arse and start getting ready for spring/summer now.

Yesterday:

Partner WOD with 14 Thrusters at 95 and 7 burpee box jump overs at 24". 12 min AMRAP.

Each partner starts on a movement and switches when both complete it.

5 rounds of that shite. My legs are shot.

Today: resting my sore legs. Nagging leg soreness for a while. Stretching throughout the day.

My current go-to gym beat..

Probably.. I usually go at lunch so I may do something later.

I think me hitting the gym for 17/18 days before Miami jacked up my legs.

Yeah not sure what happened to Alum. He used to lift like a boss.

I did legs today. Sped up the workout and hit the driving range after. Squatting down to put a ball on a tee has never been more difficult.

I wish I had the motivation to start working out again. I did start a diet last night though so I guess I'm making progress.

Don't worry, Berg. I can still out lift you.

However, I have dropped my BP down to 110/75 and elevated a lagging HDL level in 6 months.

Overall cholesterol has always been around 140 but my HDL level was low. It's now a 1:2 ratio of my LDL level. It was 1:3.5 the last time I had it checked.

Did heavy bench work. 5 sets off 2 at 165. 3 sets of five close grip bench. Wide grip flat bench with pause 2 sets of 5 with 155. Slowly getting my bench back up. Tricep pushdowns, seated dumbell shoulder press. Front and lateral shoulder raises. I never felt this weak in my life but that's what I get for such a long layoff

I workout 5-6 days a week, and this sentence was like reading another language to me.

Didn't even search.

I'll pour one out gym style and work up to a 275 bench tonight for Berg.

I got 210 5 times yesterday…haven't even thought about trying that much in a long time…only been back lifting for 4 weeks. I'm happy with the progress.

I tried to run yesterday during warmup.

Bad left ankle felt like it was going to explode and my plantar fasciitis issue in my right heel felt like I was jabbing an ice pick into it.

I went to the gym for the first time in a month yesterday. Ugh. I fricking hate gyms. So many goddamn bros.

Anyways, I'm sore as shite.

I rode my bike to work today, so that'll be 7ish miles.

I'll probably run another 4 this evening.
