Depends. Are you attracted to her in ANY way whatsoever? And be honest with yourself. If you have even the slightest desire to frick her, and think she has even the slightest desire to frick you, it will happen if you move in together.

My best friend (male) lives with a female and seems to want her to die. And we both thought he'd end up sleeping with her. It is still new, but I don't see it happening.

So you never know.

I'm moving in with a girl in a month or so. She and I are good friends and both need a place to live and can save money by moving in together. I'm not too worried about it

it'll happen over time, some scenario when one of them comes in late, down in the dumps about something, the other tries to console, a couple of bottles of wine later -monkey sex

Off topic, but I dated a girl with a male roommate and it bothered me (Yes I was an insecure arse.) What made matters worse was they used to date. He moved out shortly after that.

So is Jones. They are using their personal psycho clean freak experiences.

Women around me are constantly complaining about their man-child husbands not cleaning anything, so I wouldn't say "women are gross" any more than men are gross. But yes, a lot of college girls are quite messy.

I remember going into my friends room at her sorority house, and you couldn't see the floor. I don't know how the girls in that room could tell whose clothes belong to whom.

He would absolutely do it even though he seems to hate her, but they aren't home at the same times. She is a plant worker (yet kinda hot? weird) and he works in bars. Complete opposite schedules.

Nope, but I never had a roommate til my wife moved in. We lived together before marriage. That was a fricking wake up call.

In 94, was invited to move in with my friend and his hot sister. I knew them both from HS. The guy was a sophomore and his sister a freshman in HS when I was a senior. I was 24 when I moved in with them and the brother wanted to keep his room by himself in their 2 bedroom place. He elected for me to share a room with his sister and she was good with it as we were just friends anyway. After coming home drunk the night I moved in, she and I made love . We made love many more times in the room where we had two twin beds until she fell in love with another friend who did not live with us. They have been married 16 years.

if i live with someone, i typically am tidier. when i live alone, it can get messy at times. but my standard of what i consider "sanitary" or "cleaned" has a high bar. when i do clean, it's thorough.

sometimes though, when things get really messy(laundry)... it's almost so overwhelming that i won't want to do it. and then the mess gets worse.

my dog makes it really hard to be as clean as i'd like to be. before her.... whoaaaa was i a clean freak.

eta: go over in the lunch thread. it's almost february. time for us to do our annual discuss swimwear for the upcoming season.

Does it count if your roommate was your sister? Asking for a friend...

I let an ex from 8 years before stay with me for two months with the caveat that she had to put out and give me a bj a week. Worked out well until I kicked her out

If I'm being honest, yeah she's cute and cool as hell and I wouldn't turn her down. We both like to go out and drink, so I could see that scenario could play out I guess considering we're both single.

Maybe the group of friends I was in college with were atypical, but we didn't think anything of having sex. It was just another thing, and no emotions or feelings involved

An example:
Guy and girl are at the bar. Both feel like getting down. Guy asks girl of she wants to go bang in the car. Girl agrees. Sex ensues, and when it's over, they both go back into the bar and party. No big deal

Right after I graduated college (Wisconsin) two and a half years ago, I moved to Minneapolis (before moving to Chicago) for a year and lived with a girl I knew from college. We had a really nice apartment, she was really cute, we had a lot of the same friends, but we never actually hooked up. I was fine with that. Didn't want to mess anything up as we had a perfect living arrangement and there were plenty other women around the city.

Obviously, if one or both of you were gay, that doesn't count.

Have a female friend of a friend who needs a roommate and is cool with a guy moving in...seems like it would be a bad idea to potentially shite where you eat...
