Someone in a thread on here from a year ago was claiming he was taking Sophomore classes as a Junior. That's hardly a huge issue though--happens a lot to kids who end up being eligible. Hopefully he gets his stuff done.

Yeah, I don't think he will be an "LSU signee" if LSU knows he can't qualify. That solves nothing.

This is actually pretty great--the kid doesn't take up a scholly, but is committed to LSU while pursuing JUCO. Great situation for LSU.

Of course after he goes JUCO, he can then sign with whomever he wishes. IMO, this Much Ado about Nothing.

No, it's a commitment. The kid has committed to LSU. It's exactly like Jeremy Cutrer's situation a couple years ago. He went into JUCO a LSU commit and when he had his academics squared away, he was a commitment again. Same thing is happening here with Joe.

More often than not at LSU, sign and place typically don't end up at LSU.
Cutrer was a rare exception.
