ilikelsu

if you dont like chore games, then this one is not for you. It's all about chores after chores after chores. And that's just the main quest, you have a shite ton of other chores u can do.

Is there at least a sufficient amount of zombie killing to accomplish the chores? Or is it just jump puzzles to get to the next chore? I mostly hate when developers pad their games with chores and fetch quests and call it "content" but with very little substance. For example, Assassin's Creed animus fragments and other shite to chase, or Riddler trophy/towers/interrogations in the Arkham games.

Getting away from zombies is hard enough as it is... Fighting hordes is extremely hard!! But the good part is that the missions are relatively different and some end at night giving you the thrill and when I say thrill I mean crazy thrill of running through the night lol

Right now I have the main quest and 15 side quests in my queue. Plenty to do if you want or you can just fight zombies and look for loot. Most side quests are worth it. You end up with another blueprint or some good loot, weapon upgrades, etc. Not to mention points and money.
In the end though, it's like any game with RPG elements. No different than Borderlands,Skyrim, Rage, Fallout or Far Cry.

If you find the grappling hook, it makes getting to places 100000000 times easier.

My friend and I played through the rest of the game today. The story missions further into the game do get more interesting, but there's still a lot there that would be very frustrating without a second player.

Good weapons and the grappling hook do make a world of difference in the gameplay. I would even go so far as to say that the grappling hook is a requirement once you leave the slums, so get it as soon as you can.

Overall, it's probably a 6.75 or a 7 out of 10 for me.

I really enjoyed the deep character progression system and how fun it is to explore the gameworld, hunting airdrops and claiming safe zones, but most of the side missions can get pretty repetitive and a lot of mission objectives are unclear.

The parkour is well done for the most part because it doesn't get in the way of the gameplay very often as 90% of the game uses it only used as a means of moving around the city. The parkour is rarely the focus of any part of a mission, but when it is, it can be frustrating or down right infuriating in a number of ways from trying to distinguish just what it is you're supposed to latch on to or trying to get your character to actually grab a ledge.

The entire last mission is based almost entirely off of your parkour skills and is more infuriating than fun as a result.

The mission where you meet the chick in the train car is kind of a game changer, the loot from the mission it massive and valuable.

SPOILER COMING!

The quartermaster has new stuff each day so if you clean him out, then sleep till the next day he has stuff for you again.

This game is filled with a lot of jumping and "frick you figure it out" shite, the only saving grace it that they save your progress when you die.

So I am getting near the end with about 20 hours played, the game goes full retard and makes jump puzzles the go to, but only after making your run from point A to B the furthest possible. The side quests that I have done make you run to a point only to find "it's not here, run over there" over and over. I am only finishing this game because I am so close.

protip: Pay attention to your guns firepower, there are a lot of rifles that are 137 or 184, but I found one that is 284, with head shots it's devastating.

True dat. I found a similar rifle with high stats very early on but didn't realize how good it was until I started seeing the other rifles with crappy stats.

My friend was raging over this. Also, if you like playing co-op, the final mission is solo only.

For those that like me and HATE jump puzzles and the jumping requirements, get the grappling hook as soon as possible, it's a game changer.

I was waiting for you to bring this up. The grappling hook basically turns you into spiderman
