at my company they call them retention bonuses, like do we really need to keep these morons that have lost billions over the last few years and have driven the world's largest company(in our field) into bankruptcy?

the original Southwest airline employees used to accept stock instead of pay when the company was trying to get established, after a few years they began to call the bag smashers in Corpus the millionaires club because that was a pretty senior station at the time
