I'd say 8 (to put us at 23 total), including the SEC tourney.

Doesn't make you a lock you still have to finish the season.

Remember when 20 wins used to get you in the tournament?

Spilt milk, I know, but damn the Mizzou and A&M losses. Should have had them.

It still would if we had the mid-2000s SEC....but when the SEC is craptastic like it is now then you have to win those games.

Yep. I can accept Mizzou because it was first SEC road game, but that one was winnable. TxA&M was a BAD loss at home.

It will take 22 or more to make Tourney.

Texas A&M isn't a bad team. We should not have lost that game, but they are a upper mid level SEC team and will be on the bubble.

I will answer your question with a question...
What is the Magic Number of "quality wins" that LSU needs in order to make the tourney?

With LSU road record so far and the non conf win at West Va LSU is in good shape if they can hold serve at home. The rest of the road games are winnable as well. It's always good to not flame out of SEC tourney on day 1 even with a bye

yep. not a good loss at the time but they are putting together a nice season which is bailing us out. of course, we have to play them again.

old dominion is doing their best to help us out with their record but, their sos is dragging them down bad

I'm gonna say 24 to not have to sweat it out on selection Sunday at all. But I think 23 puts us in and 22 squarely on the bubble and would depend on how other teams do and the SEC tourney.
