No they don't. They give you great comps and bring you back as often as you will to give their money back. You are playing adult games. Grow up.
ETA YOU DONT KNOW THE ODDS?? Grow Up.
Yes they do, if they sense you are using any slight advantage to bring the odds more into your favor that is not cheating, they will kick your arse out and ban you.
Card counting for example, that is not cheating by any means, yet they want you to believe it is the devil. It's one of those house rules they use to maintain their house odds. When someone figures out how to eliminate those odds, it's bad. It's only ok for them to up the odds on you like getting you plastered.

Casinos name a ton of money off the idea of card counting

They make a lot of money off real card counters as well, but when the counters have an on night, they make sure to shut down that shite if they can detect them.
I just don't have any issue with this guy trying to run the same kind of racket Casinos use to sucker their prey.
Besides my wife buying a powerball ticket when it gets near a record and some random friends $5 bowl pick'em or similar, my total gambling amount spent at a real casino sits at $40 from one night in Vegas where it came with free show tickets that were over that amount. I don't gamble, so this story really doesn't impact me. I would definitely go in favor of the guy if I sat on this jury.

Pretty sure this type of thing has been litigated several times. Casino has footage of every bet he made and as long as he is making decisions at the table to be able to continue to play the game he doesn't have a case.
I've been at casinos before where I have seen them refuse to give a marker (additional credit for high rollers the casino has vetted and is comfortable they have plenty to pay for the marker) when the person was really drunk.

I was not let into a casino last summer for this exact reason.
Guy actually said "you are too drunk to gamble."
We were allowed to tell people no for any reason we wanted. You follow me around for a drink instead of gambling and waiting for me to come to you? You're being told no because you're bothering the shite out of me.
You get 2-3 drinks out of me in a row with no tip? I'm not coming back.
And we were encouraged to cut people off anytime we thought they looked drunk.
The alcohol serving industry already has a lot of freedom to tell people to screw off, but when the drinks are FREE, I don't care how mad you get Act right or find another waitress.

A lot of this is just basic right to refuse service. My dad tossed people out all the time for card counting at Caesar's. It was a simple "we don't want your play". They don't need that guy since their was another plane load of suckers landing at any given moment.

Casino is one place they won't water down free drinks

Except this isn't similar to that.

They don't water them down, but (at least here in BR) you can't get doubles or anything.
L'Auberge has a liquor gun instead of free-poured liquor. It pours 7/8 of a shot. If you want it to be "strong", get it in a short glass. Otherwise you're drinking a tall glass of mixer with 7/8 shot in it.
Of course, if you're a good tipper, the waitress will order your drink and then order 1-2 shots of whatever your liquor is on the side and she'll dump them into your drink.

If it is the law in Nevada that casinos can't allow drunk people to gamble then he is indeed entitled to his $500k. Good luck proving you were drunk, though.

Hmmm...this is like the some of those cases where women claim rape because things didn't go their way and they made a big mistake.
And it holds up in many cases with them, pretty legit defense IMO.

The similar point is blaming someone for over serving and saying they are the cause of "x".

The question I have is did the plaintiff "measure" how drunk he was? Documented?
Women don't have to prove how drunk they were when they're "raped" after drinking too much. Just need a few people to say he was tanked, maybe even video of him stumbling around.

Not in Louisiana, we have an anti-dram shop act.

Yep. I have told the cage on multiple occasions to not give a guest another marker at 3am when they called me, if they don't take no for an answer I've either had to drive to casino or usually get the Casino Manager on duty to handle it. Sometimes my boss would question me, but I felt it was the right thing to do.
Most cases the next morning the guest thanks me, some have called me and cussed me and threaten to go to another property but they end up passing out hahah. It happens.
