Probably not since it's plug and play. If you are worried though, just swap the halogens back in before bringing it to the dealer.

Its an easy install really. Took about 2 hours and this was the first time I'd done anything like this. I took my time and made sure everything was right as I went along. I spent probable 20 min finding the right grounds. Other than that, its straight forward.
The light upgrade is well worth the time invested in the install. IF you take the leap let me know and Ill help walk you through the install if you have any Q's

I ordered these from VLED for the fogs and they match perfectly:

And if you use the code toyotanation you get $20 off from TRS on the HID kit.

Did you order the 9006 bulb from DDM? Doesn't the Sierra take a 9012?

Here's mine. I had a shop do them, I attempted myself but I may/may not have warped a headlight in the oven. Some of these projector swaps are just stupid, halos, backlighting, dummie projectors, etc.

9012 Bulb. Its the Morimoto HID kit from TRS. Same as the OP but his is a different bulb. Sierras take a 9012 since its one bulb for high/low. Silverados have a designated low and high bulb.

Good luck with the ddm kits. I had them on my Silverado. They are bright but one blew out after a few months. Went back with silverstars.

That f250 looks good. And I might add the 14 f150 stock hid projectors are bright as hell. Idk why Chevy and gmc put halogens in a projector headlamp. I agree they are not bright At all

There are a lot of cars with halogen projectors. They're cheap. That's the main reason.

There are still HIDs offered as an option, it just costs extra. The cost is worth it in my opinion though.

DDM is pretty bottom-barrel stuff for HIDs. I think The Retrofit Source is one of the tops. The brightness you get from a quality ballast and bulb is amazing compared to a lower quality one.

This.
This is what if found in the research I did before buying my kit from The Retrofit Source.

Probably both. I had buddies systems last, mine didn't. I'd go retrofit source like he said. I'm lucky to have factory hids. but try ddm and if they don't last go with retrofit source
