If you cook your bacon on the stove at very low heat, it will cook in its own grease over time and be very crispy when browned...

I use a sheet of aluminum foil on a baking sheet. About 425 for 12-15 minutes. Set the timer for 10 and check it then. Cooks about 8 slices at a time. And I don't preheat the oven. Both burners going from when I put the sheet in and it cooks from both sides. Perfect every time and the whole house doesn't smell like a Waffle House.

That's how I do it on the stove.
