Birdman is the best movie of the year IMO.

Will be happy with either one winning. Although I think Boyhood is a much more one of a kind film and will probably hold up for a lot longer.

That is what has happened to me a lot over the years, including Argo. I just don't think I am a fan of Ben A, then the fiction at the airport, etc ruined it for me.

Boyhood, I had read nothing about, wife wanted to watch it, we did, she did not like, I was indifferent. Definitely not Best Picture Oscar quality. Yes, the premise is cool and all and props for doing it, but the content and acting was just not that good.
