I've had great burgers at lots of places.

The great thing about burgers is that people have discovered that they are a great platform for experimentation. Doesn't have to just be ketchup, mustard, mayo lettuce and tomato anymore.

So many ingredients go with them because you have a bland product that is only elevated with additions (at least salt and pepper) and it is relatively cheap.

I love a hamburger poboy. The bread generally is a lot better than a typical bun. As with any good poboy or burger the bread makes a huge difference.

Milo's is awesome. For you LA folks, hit it up if you're ever in Birmingham for anything. Order the double with cheese and get extra sauce to dip your fries in
