I carry my Kimber Ultra Raptor II. I know, Kimbers suck. I love it.

Varies for me depending on the time of the year (weather) between glock 23 and glock 42. Used to not be a fan of the polymer pistols, learned how to shoot a pistol on a springfield armory 1911 chambered in .45
But, I've taken a liking to the newer glocks (gen3 and gen4) Feel comfortable in my hand, I shoot them well, and the trigger is the same for every model I own. The 42 is fun as my EDC since it's so small. Got it with an alienware 2.0 IWB holster and I can barely feel it there. Hoping glock comes out with a single stack 9mm at some point because .380 can be hard to find around here and more expensive compared to the 9mm
Go shoot multiple weapons once you figure out what caliber you want and get what feels comfortable to you and what you shoot well. For EDC you have got to be comfortable with that firearm, that's the bottom line
