Yeah. I did. There are a lot of reasons I feel that way. The Rockets rely in Harden to drive and put up shots. James Harden's interior shots are rebounded at a rate of 54% compared to 39% for the rest of the league. The guy doesn't care about his shooting percentage. Durant will watch his team lose when he has an off night shooting. Lots of times Westbrook bails them out.

And lots of times westbrook is the one shooting them in the foot to begin with.

When Harden doesn't get bailed out by foul calls, houston runs into trouble when no one else plays above their average.

They had the 1st or 2nd best record in the league last season while Westbrook was out.

Harden is somewhere in between Westbrook and Durant's game. He isn't as athletic as Westbrook or as good of a shooter as Durant, but I think he is very versatile. I would love to get another great guard in Houston to play with him.

I'd take KD, but I agree that Harden is now at least in the conversation. 27.3, 5.5 and 6.8 while getting 2 steals and a block a game. He has some of the tightest handles in the game, his basketball IQ is so good and it doesn't hurt that he's left handed. He's going to be a beast for years to come.

So why have they struggled so much this year? Even with Durant back? Somehow, Durant is unable to be criticized, while LeBron, who has done way more, plays under tons more pressure.

I love Durant, but it's amazing how little criticism he receives compared to other players. Dude has plenty of flaws.

he is very versatile, but the difference between them isn't as wide as it used to be, but it is still big enough that 29/30 GMs would take Durant > Harden

You didn't say who will be better in a few years, you said Klay is better right now. There's no logic or metrics you can use to back that stance.

Funny you say that, I forgot who it was just a couple of weeks ago posting to me saying they'd take Harden over Durant....just like Thompson over Curry in this thread, there's always one!!!

Thompson blocked Harden's shot a few times in their recent match.

Thompson plays D. harden not so much.

Thompson is taller. it matters.

They're 7-4, simma down on the sample size. 3 of those losses were on the road to HOU, GS, and ATL.

Yeah. I remember when Durant's team got bitchslapped by a Houston team that had played three games in four nights compared to OKC's five days of rest.

This. If Harden sucks, he at least tries. If you are a superstar, you shouldn't strike out looking.

If Scotty Brooks ran a system we wouldn't be having this discussion.

That is a good point that should be taken into consideration for sure.

But coaching and systems is one of the reasons why you can never perfectly compare two players.
