- Toronto is already down to Philly

- Atlanta faces probably their most "are they for real matchup" so far this season in OKC. I think if Atlanta beats the Thunder, we should have everyone on board finally with the Hawks taking the East talk.

Other notable games:

Chicago @ Dallas - Can D-Rose and company continue their recent winning? Will Dirk and Co. push another East contender into pretender?

LAL @ SA - How will the Lakers fare without Kobe? Do they rally as a team and play team ball or do they squander any shot at regaining the Los Angeles as "Laker City"

Atlanta will have its doubters until the playoffs regardless. I think they are for real.

they've already beaten quite a few good teams, several on the road, and have the 2nd best record in the league. Whether they win or lose tonight, it's already been pretty well established they're "for real".

why wouldn't those talks already be going on?

I realize it's an Atlanta sports franchise, but it IS ok to be excited and happy about the team doing well without having to downplay it for the masses. The hawks are legit regardless of what happens today.

Trust me, there are several "talking heads" who feel the Hawks will come down to earth and the Cavs will ascend to the top by seasons end.

At least Monty knows what he's talking about

If the Cavs keep playing like this, good luck to the rest of the NBA.

who was the guy on the MSB, maybe back this summer, that tried to convince people the way at looking at a ".500 record" was all wrong? That thread was GOLD.
