Get some Lucchese boots with a pointed toe or Frye Boots for dress up or with jeans. Red Wings are still superior for the everyday and/or work IMO. The super square boots are a fad and make me shy away from Ariat. Ariat does make a more sensible looking small square and rounded toe boot.

So far, Lucchese is the frontrunner. May have to take out a loan to buy them though.

Thanks for the link, those just don't do anything for me though.

Probably cause you bought 1883 or 2001 lines, those aren't nearly the quality of classics

The right answer is the boot that fits your foot correctly. On good cowboy boots that will be determined by the last it's built on. Of the common brands, Dan Post & Justin seem to fit...usually. Tonys are usually not right on me, but some lines fit fine.
This x 100000000
For me it is Noconas

Never had Lucheses. I've worn Red Wing, Wolverine, Twisted-X, Ariat for work in Cowboy style boots.
Hands down the most comfortable were Twisted-X. The inly problem is that they didn't last very long.

Besides my running shoes my Luccheses are the most comfortable shoes in my closet.

I bought a pair of the 1883 ostrich... I wear them with sundresses for tailgating (don't judge!) and the occasional random other time. It was insane to spend even that much on something I use so infrequently. That being said, they are reallllly comfy, seem to be very well-made, and are so pretty!
