I distinctly remember a bunch of Pels fans mocking him during the draft for saying that Gordon Hayward would get a max deal in the offseason.

Gordon Hayward ended up getting a max deal.

I thought he would get paid very well(I really like him as a player) but I expected 10-11 mil and not 15+.

Early returns look very strong for sure.

BTW do you like green so far?

so simmons goes off in a humorous way on monty, takes the position that 99% of the fans agree with (monty stinks), and yall want to call him a blowhard/shockjock/poser?

Again, you're talking about lobos and GI here.

What do you really expect from two of the larger grumps on TD ?

We're both much more respected here than you are, Alejandro.

I don't have a problem with Simmons. He's typically pretty spot on. He can be annoying at times with the pop culture crap but he still knows his shite. I'm sure a lot of people don't like him here as he has a negative view of the pels and the way the team was built. Nobody likes to here negative shite about their team but it is what it is.

Also, he and Lowe's podcast is about as good as it gets if you like hoop talk.

He's been great. He just adds a whole different dimension to the team that we didn't have. I don't think he made a single jump shot in his first two games, but his ability to get to the basket off the dribble is somethings this teams sorely lacks outside of Conley.

They've been experimenting with him like crazy in about every lineup you could imagine.

The Princeton offense he ran at Georgetown works so well with what the Grizz try to do. Since Marc and Zbo are such good passers he can just make cuts off the ball to get open looks a lot.

Yep. Flannery's Drive and Kick is great too.

Simmons is not the sharpest NBA observer, but he watches games. He loves the sport. He writes about it in an entertaining way. He has the knowledge to surround himself with sharp guys like Lowe, Sharp, Abrams, Rose, Goldsberry, Voulgaris.

All of that puts him well ahead of many other prominent journos. I don't always agree or care for his opinions, but I'll always hear him out on the NBA.

Yeah I noticed Z-Bos assists numbers have been pretty good since he came back and marc has always been great at passing.

He's really the scorer y'all were missing. I have both him and Zbo on my fantasy team and ZBo has been fantastic all year Hopefully jeff can get 15-16 efficient points a game.

Sidenote: Q-pon has been really good defensively and showed some nice offensive moves the other night. I had a doubt or 2 about him but the early returns are sound. I expect him to start soon.

Yeah I could tell this board seems to be rather pleased with him.

I might have been right about him just needing a change of scenery

If he does end up starting hopefully he will do better than he did in his starting chances he had here.

Yeah he should

While tyreke is handling PG,it makes more sense for him to start(for his long range game) than dante.
